Victoria Bay is one of the many surprises that the Garden Route has to offer. Here you will find a unique and sheltered cove nestled between magnificent cliffs, making Victoria Bay one of the safest beaches in the vicinity.
Apart from its beautiful beach it is also famous for its perfect waves, a challenge to top surfers around the world, particularly during the winter months of June through August.
Whale and dolphin watching, bathing, fishing, snorkelling, surfing, trailing and horseback riding are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed here.
Victoria Bay will offer you a truly memorable experience for the whole family. The beach is only 300m (328 yards) away from SeaBreeze Cabanas - ideal for an early morning dip and a stroll at sunset.
Not only is there plenty to see in our picturesque part of the world, there is also a varied range of activities available which cater for a myriad of tastes and visitors of all ages.
Hiking
Established hiking trails are found throughout the area. Walks can vary from an easy one hour stroll to the more strenuous 5 day hikes like the Otter trail.
Golf
Since opening in 1991, Fancourt Hotel & Country Club Estate has transformed George into South Africa's new golf capital. Fancourt is the only South African member of the renowned "Great Golf Resorts of the World". Although two courses ("Outeniqua" & "Montagu") are reserved for residents and members, a third course, "The Links", has been especially created to cater for visitors. This new 18-hole course - designed by Gary Player - is a links course and boasts many spectacular features.
The Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe
This class 24 narrow gauge steam train is one of the few working passenger steam trains still in existence. It leaves George at 8:10am and arrives in Knysna at 11:30am. It returns to George at 12:55pm. The route of the Choo-Tjoe is from George, via Victoria Bay, Wilderness, Sedgefield and Goukamma to Knysna and goes through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Garden Route lake district. The section from Victoria Bay along the Cliffside and over the Kaaiman's River viaduct to Wilderness is one of the highlights of the journey.
Hop on with a picnic basket and let it transport you back in time through the wetlands, forest and along the coastline. The Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe runs every day except for Sundays and some public holidays.
Adrenaline Junkies
For the more adventurous there is hang-gliding and para-gliding offered at the Wilderness, just 6 km (3.7 miles) from SeaBreeze Cabanas.
For the extremely adventurous there is a 65m (213 feet) bungee-jumping site at Gouritz River Bridge and at the Bloukrans Bridge over the Storms River we have the highest land based bungee jump site in the world - 216m (709 feet)!
SeaBreeze Cabanas is located on the South African south coast, 8km (5 miles) from George and 6km (3.8 miles) from Wilderness.

SeaBreeze Cabanas are fully equipped, self catering 2, 3 and 4 bedroom duplex flats and 2 bedroom wooden chalets. All units are equipped with Television, M-Net (Pay Channel TV), Telephone, outdoor Braai (Barbeque) area and Parking Bays.
Each of our cabanas are privately owned and furnished. Since each owner has endeavoured to portray the warm and stylish atmosphere we are famous for in a unique way, no two units are identical. This means that our many regular guests enjoy a different experience on each of their return visits. With the unit owners making use of the cabanas themselves, you are assured that comfort and efficiency has been foremost in their minds when equipping the flats and chalets.
Our friendly and efficient resort management staff are always on hand to assist you with settling in and enjoying your stay to the fullest.
Please note that whilst not included in our standard Prices, servicing of the units can be arranged on request. Also note that no pets are allowed and that towels, toiletries, dish cloths and detergents are not supplied.
